Pupils help fulfil wishes

Pupils, parents and staff of St Martin’s School have raised £1,000 to help terminally ill children.
The school held its annual fund-raising summer fayre at St Luke’s Church hall. The money was raised for Round Table Children’s Wish, a charity that grants wishes for children with life threatening illnesses between the ages of three and 17 years.
“We are a small, private school of just under 100 children, so this is a really great achievement,” said the headmistress, Carolyn Coombes. “It is good to see local children raising money for local wishes.”
